“Smart city” has attracted the attention of countries all over the world Since IBM put forward the concept of "Smart Earth" in New York in 2008. At the same time, the standards of security products are getting higher and higher, such as cameras on the street. But why we can see it on the screen in monitoring room? Today GearLink Technology will have a detailed introduction on their work principle. At first please see the picture as below:
We can see clearly from the diagram how the remote monitoring system works as well will explain each device one by one for you to have a better understanding of it.
1, Camera - take pictures.
2, Network cable - transmit the picture taken by the camera to the optical fiber transceiver (Note that the longest transmission distance of the network cable is 100M, so the optical fiber transceiver will generally be closer to the camera).
3-Optical transceiver - transmit the signal which converted by optical module to the switch through network cable.
Optical module - convert the photoelectric signal
Optical fiber - transmit the optical signal
4-Switch - connect multiple cameras and exchange information
5-Video recorder - save the pictures recorded by the camera
The optical modules/fibers and transceivers provided by GearLink Technology meet the requirements of distance, speed, and image clarity in security monitoring.
