BIDI-SFP+-ZR-49 is a 3.3V small-form-factor transceiver module that can be hot-pluggable. The SFF-8472 SFP+ MSA compliant 10g sfp+ bidi 80km is developed specifically for high-speed communication applications that demand speeds up to 10.7 Gb/s. In 9/125um single-mode fibre, the module data link can reach up to 80 kilometres.


Tx Disable has an LVTTL logic high-level input that can be used to disable the optical output. Tx Fault is used to detect laser deterioration. The receiver's loss of signal (LOS) output is used to indicate the loss of an optical signal input or the state of the link with the partner.


SFP+ 10G Tx1490/Rx1550 80Km LC Transceiver model can be abbreviated as 10G SFP+ BiDi ZR. It adopts EML laser/APD detector, built-in CDR function, and conforms to standard protocols such as SFP+ MSA. The central wavelengths are 1490nm and 1550nm, and the transmission distance is up to 80km.

The most obvious advantage of BiDi optical module is that it can reduce the number of ports on the fiber patch cord panel, save the cost of fiber optic cabling infrastructure, and can also reduce the wiring space, facilitate fiber management, and reduce the number of fibers required.


The price of BiDi optical modules (WDM optical modules) is higher than that of traditional dual-fiber bidirectional optical modules, but the number of optical fibers required by BiDi optical modules per unit transmission distance is reduced by half. For many network lines, the cost savings of using fewer optical fibers far exceeds the cost of purchasing BiDi optical modules, effectively reducing costs.
