SFP28 transceiver

QSFP / QSFP+ transceiver
QSFP, the full name is Quad Small Form-factor Pluggable, a four-channel small form-factor pluggable optical transceiver with four independent full-duplex transceiver channels. Its original intention was to replace the single-channel SFP with a high-density optical transceiver. The QSFP is only 30% larger than the standard SFP transceiver. QSFP was born to meet the market's demand for higher-density high-speed pluggable solutions. This 4-channel pluggable interface has a transmission rate of 4x10Gbps. QSFP28 transceiver
The packaging method of the 100G QSFP28 transceiver is the same as that of the 40G QSFP+ transceiver, and both use 4 fiber channels to transmit data. The difference is that the transmission rate of each fiber channel of the 100G QSFP28 transceiver can reach up to 28Gbps, which is mainly used for 100G transmission applications. Compared with 100G CFP transceivers, 100G QSFP28 transceivers are more adaptable to high-density wiring and are widely favored by most data centers. QSFP-DD transceiver
QSFP-DD MSA was established in March 2016 and its members include 52 companies in the industry. The MSA is mainly dedicated to the development of optical transceivers with a higher speed than the existing QSFP28 transceivers, and can be backward compatible with QSFP. QSFP-DD adopts 8 electrical interfaces, each adopts 25Gbps NRZ or 50Gbps PAM4 signal format, and can support up to 400Gbps rate.
