The Gearlink’s GNQ3L0C04 is a Four-Channel, Plug-gable, dual LC, Fiber-Optic QSFP28 Transceiver for 100G Ethernet applications. The QSFP28 full-duplex optical module offers 4 independent transmit and receive channels, each capable of 26Gbps operation for an aggregate data rate of 104Gbps 2km using single-mode fiber. These modules are designed to operate over single-mode fiber systems using a 1271nm-1331nm DFB laser array. QSFP28 CWDM4 is one kind of transceiver that provides increased port density and total system cost savings. They are compliant with the QSFP28 MSA, CWDM4 MSA(sucha as 100g cwdm transceivers and qsfp cwdm), and portions of IEEE P802.3bm.

What is the CWDM wavelength?

The wavelength range of CWDM technology is between 1270nm-1610nm, and each band is separated by 20nm, and there are 18 bands in total. Among these 18 bands are the same wavelengths as conventional wavelengths. Therefore, in order to distinguish between conventional wavelengths and CWDM wavelengths, the relevant organizations shift the center of the channel by 1nm, that is, the wavelength range is 1271nm-1611nm. Since the 1271nm-1471nm band has obvious attenuation, the commonly used bands of CWDM are eight bands of 1471nm-1611nm.
